After years of anxiety, addiction, and unresolved physical symptoms; skirting the edges of depression and despair, I found paths – and ways of walking them – that changed my life for the better.

While theory can be taught it is ultimately through direct experience that significant change occurs in our lives. Insight, faith, love, hope, resolution – such things are states of being we experience. This is the knowing where the healing lives, the theory is just the signpost, not the destination. The invitation is simple. Find your path and the pace you walk it best.

The following video is relatively short, but, in all fairness, the principles it contains, the ones that aim to help people make sense of trauma, and to help them make steps towards resolving it, are simple.

It’s just that, not everything that is simple is easy.

In the words of Mae West…

“I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it.”
